Surrendering King

He could have conquered the world, instead, He died to Save it,

The kind of Love it took to do that is amazing!

The Victory He won was falling down so He could raise it,

Life over death was where His War was fought and why I’m praising,

My God of Glory cause He made a decision to render,

Himself in human flesh and then unto Hell He surrendered!

Can you imagine what it took Him to hinder His temper,

As He let unworthy people offend Him in His Splendor?

He had all the Power that it would take to destroy us,

But instead, He chose to Love us and stayed on His voyage,

Into the jaws of hateful angels who all were disloyal,

And all just so that He could give a voice unto the voiceless!

But never forget that He did it when He didn’t have to!

Matter of fact, with all the Power that He was attached to,

It took more effort to Save us than if He stomped a path through,

All of His enemies, we’re Free because He Gave us Value!
