DAILY WORD 6/2/20
10. He also says to the Son, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands.
11. They will perish, but you remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing.
12. You will fold them up like a cloak and discard them like old clothing. But you are always the same; you will live forever.”
13And God never said to any of the angels, “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”
14Therefore, angels are only servants — spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.
Hebrews 1:10–14 NLT
Today’s passage continues the thought we covered in yesterday’s DAILY WORD and concludes the First Chapter of Hebrews. In continuation, God, Speaking to/about Jesus again indicates that He is indeed The One God.
He does this by Relating the Activities of God to His Son. We all know that God made the world with His Hands but God Himself in this passage is indicating that Jesus did that.
We all know that God is Eternal, however, we see here, from God’s own Words that Jesus is Eternal. He says, “You are always the same; you will live forever.” This is God talking about Jesus.
What does this all mean? In my Revalatory Understanding, it means that Jesus IS God. There aren’t two Gods, there’s only one. There aren’t three Throwns in Heaven, there’s only one.
Jesus is the One that will be sitting on it when we get there to Worship Him and that does not mean that God is going to be standing on the side ticked off cause He’s not getting the attention…Jesus IS God!
Again, this is not meant as an offense to those that have a different understanding of the Facts. However, we’ve all come to know over the last couple of years that “alternative facts” are not really viable. There is One Truth just like there is One God.
Like I said yesterday if this is something you’d like to Understand for yourself, ask God to Reveal Himself to you and in His Time He will do it. If not, do you. It doesn’ change the Truth.
The final portion of the Chapter goes back to a comparison to God/Jesus and the angels. It gives us a clear view of what they were Created for and should give us as Christians a jolt of euphoria and courage.
They are ministering spirits Created to Worship God and care for us. That’s pretty cool if you ask me! There are Powerful entities Created for our benefit doing God’s Bidding for our Blessing.
They are fighting the battles that afford us prayers answered, protections provided, and Blessings delivered. God has our Favor taken care of. We have nothing to worry about because Jesus is on the Throne! What a Mighty God we serve!
Have a Terrific Tuesday, FB, and Stay Safe out there!
