5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
Psalm 1:5 KJV
Today’s Passage continues with the thought the author is sharing about the differences between Godly and ungodly actions and how they relate to the Blessings of The Lord. He told us about the Benefits of godliness. Now, he is presenting the detriments of the opposite point of reference.
In our last Single Shot, the author related ungodly individuals to chaff or yard waste that is only good to be disposed of and burnt. The next portion of the Chapter displays for us their ultimate end, and as you might imagine, it is not pretty.
I’ll give you this Verse in the NLT to give you a little better perspective on its meaning. It says, “They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly.”
God’s Blessings for those who follow His Lead are assured and desirable. The repercussions of ignoring Him will result in the opposite outcome. We will all face God’s Judgment at some point in life. Where that Judgment leaves us will depend on whether you listened to God’s Word or not.
If not, you can expect to share in the fate of all those who rebel against Him, namely Satan and his disloyal demonic host. Hell is prepared for their punishment over their betrayal of God. However, all those who defy God’s Law get to share in Lucifer’s final destination.
Listen, I can’t speak for you, but that’s the last individual I want to align myself with, especially when you consider the reasoning for his rebellion in the first place. Who wants to be dragged down by a power-hungry megalomaniac’s smug, egotistical superiority complex?
His fate is sealed because of his Arrogance and Pride. He deserves what is coming to him for the trillions of souls that he’s slaughtered and filched. To join in that fate is foolish and unnecessary.
Do you want to put yourself in a place of Blessing in God’s Presence or dwell in the orbit of Lucifer enjoying his hospitality? Here’s the thing, the choice of where you end up is entirely up to you.
If you want Blessings, the Path is laid out before you in The Word. If not, that’s a bad choice, but that choice is there for you if you want it as well. But before you make that decision, I suggest you select wisely because your determination will dictate your outcome.
Have a Marvelous Monday and Make The Right Choice, Because The Stakes Are Eternal!
